Help and Support

Welcome to Wellbeing.gov.bc.ca
Link to Site
Everyone’s journey to wellbeing is different – whether you are on a personal journey or are supporting someone who is facing mental health or substance use challenges.
Wellbeing.gov.bc.ca was created because:
  • People from all over British Columbia should have the tools necessary to navigate accessing the services and resources they need. And sometimes you may not know where to start.
  • People need access to the right supports, at the right time, that meet them where they are at, easily and quickly.
This site is your trusted guide to finding the right information and services to meet your needs.
Your pathway to wellbeing starts here.

These programs are delivered locally by Family Smart

Parent in Residence Program
The Parent in Residence Program - In the Okanagan both Sheila Dyer and Lori Raible work to walk alongside parents who are parenting youth who are struggling with a challenge to their mental health or engaging in substance use. They offer peer support to parents and caregivers from a perspective of lived experience, education and resources. The program is free of charge and there's no waiting list. Parents can simply reach out to their email at lori.raible@familysmart.ca or sheila.dyer@familysmart.ca.

In the Know
New sessions happening each month!
In the Know Parent Evenings
 - In Kelowna we facilitate evenings usually in person but now online for parents where they can come and learn about a topic and connect with each other.   Each month there will be a new topic of discussion. Registration links are found on the Family Smart website.
