The follow list should not be considered complete. These are scholarships that have been sent to me for distribution to GES students.  Please read each carefully to determine if you qualify.

The BC General Employees Union is offering $1000 and $2000 bursaries to Grads of 2022.

GESS PAC BURSARY
The GESS PAC bursaries are awarded to deserving students who show financial need. The bursary is intended for use towards post-secondary education costs at a recognized university, college or trades program.​

Rotary Club of Lake Country Bursary Awards Program
The Rotary Club of Lake Country is once again offering Bursaries to graduating Lake Country high school students, who are considering enrolling in an accredited academic or trades program in the 2022-2023. school year.

Bursary.  Due Date: May 30th 2022

Information
This is a newly created resource from Interior Health. 
 It is a guide for Financial Support for Aboriginal Students (see attached).  School can be expensive and they are hoping that this resource can help students overcome the financial burden of education.

$3500 scholarship for a student that has overcome adversity and are still committed to continuing their education. Applications need to be handed in to Mr. Shaw by April 8th.

KSER Scholarship Fund
The KSER Scholarship Fund offers a helping hand by supporting Grade 12 student-athletes graduating from School District 23 on their pursuit of excellence in athletics and academics. The KSER Scholarship Fund’s mission is to help relieve some of the financial burden associated with fully committing heart-and-soul into a career objective, whether it be athletic, academic or both. ​

Pridenet have established a Scholarship Fund for GSA members and LGBTQ youth leaders who intend to further their education.

The LOUD Foundation invests in future leaders of the Canadian 2SLGBTQ+ community. We believe that by supporting the development of students that possess drive, vision, compassion and knowledge, we can improve society and increase awareness of our diverse community.

Evan Guthrie Scholarship
​The Evan Guthrie Fund is aimed at grade 12 student-athletes. The fund is in place to recognize an athlete's journey through sport and education. The goal of the fund is to help relieve some financial tension for the student-athlete in order to allow them to focus on their sport and educational goals. 

Volunteer Spirt Award
​The Central Okanagan Foundation Volunteer Spirit Scholarship Fund offers financial support to a current resident of the Central Okanagan region who is, or has recently been, an active volunteer either in a Canadian community or internationally. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist with qualified post-secondary education. One scholarship will be awarded to a resident from each of the four Central Okanagan Municipalities: Peachland, West Kelowna, Kelowna, and Lake Country. Four scholarships will be funded annually at $1,500 for each municipality.
